Ciao will be using old-family traditional gelato making procedures to open the Ciao Gelateria. Giuseppe’s sister, Civita, her husband, and son have been making their own gelato and croissants for more than 60 years. Civita’s father-in-law, Giulio, began the family gelato business 90 years ago when he used to sell it on a 3-wheel tricycle around the island of Ponza. Since then, Civita and Silverio have opened up a corner gelato and bakery shop there. Giuseppe is thankful to Civita & Silverio, and is excited to share his family traditions here in Vista, California.
Parties of 10 or more guests will be subject to an automatic 18% gratuity and separate checks will not be accommodated.
There will be a $2 per person dessert fee for any outside deserts brought in to eat at Ciao.
$20 corkage fee per bottle for wines brought in.
