The Ciao Plaza Bakery is almost open and until it is, our new pastry chef Rodolfo Guglielmi will be hard at work in the Ciao Restaurant kitchen, creating fantastic Italian desserts. We are currently selling Rodolfo's creations by the slice for dine-in or take-out. Stop by and give them a try.

Ciao will be using old-family traditional gelato making procedures to open the Ciao Gelateria. Giuseppe’s sister, Civita, her husband, and son have been making their own gelato and croissants for more than 60 years. Civita’s father-in-law, Giulio, began the family gelato business 90 years ago when he used to sell it on a 3-wheel tricycle around the island of Ponza. Since then, Civita and Silverio have opened up a corner gelato and bakery shop there. Giuseppe is thankful to Civita & Silverio, and is excited to share his family traditions here in Vista, California.
